London Sightseeing Trip 15/08/12

Hi Everyone!

So on 15/08/12 I went to London :) with my camera vlog friend who does most of my vlog filming. Anyway so I just watched the vlog back and I forgot to add in a clip of me explaining how are day was, what we did and if I would recommend the tours that we did or not. I've uploaded the vlog now and deleted the clip so I thought I would explain it in this blog post here to make it a bit longer rather than just loads of pictures all of the time.

Our day was brilliant we did all of the bus tours with the bus tour company that we were with that day, the red, blue and yellow. We didn't do the boat tour because we were too tired it was cold and windy, I swear I almost felt like I was getting frostbite on one of the last bus tours that we did that day.

I would totally recommend the bus tours we both got a pair of earphones for either two of the bus tours or one of them I can't remember because when I'm writing this now it's been a long time since I've been on that London day trip out.

Our day was brilliant the weather was very windy and it rained a lot but it was worth it because we both had a great day, we both liked all of the bus tours that we did because the live ones where a person talks about the London attractions and gives important and interesting information about them, the earphones bus tours have interesting variations about them.

To me the live ones were the most interesting ones because it's really cool and clever how they remember the important, interesting and cool information about all of the different London attractions that we saw that day. It's also really nice having them make jokes or explain more about a certain London attraction rather than having to listen about them through earphones all of the time.

Thanks for reading

Love Kel

Day Out to Margate 12/08/12

Hi Everyone!

So on Sunday 12/08/12 I went to Margate with my camera friend who helps me film a lot of my vlogs on my Youtube channel Winterskel.

I did film a vlog there but it's short but I will put pictures in to make it longer and I would like to show you the souvenirs I purchased from Margate.

The first place I went to with my friend was Turner Contemporary which is a visual arts organisation, in my opinion it was one of the best places I went to with her, I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the huge organisation and looking at the interesting and fascinating art.

It's free admission but they are an organisation and they ask visitors to donate £3 to keep the organisation open, so me and my friend split it and donated £1.50 each. They have lot's of little gifts to the right of the doors as the visitors walk in but neither me or my friend purchased any souvenirs from there.

My friend and I both agreed that our favourite piece of art was Rodin's The Kiss because it's the first piece  of art that me and her both saw as you walk through the doors and if it's not the same then it's really similar to what Billie Piper, Kaya Scodelario saw in their True Love episode three when they played their characters Holly and Karen.

I had a fantastic day with my best friend in Margate and I will show souvenirs in my vlog video link (will be here soon)

Day Out Cuckmere Haven, Seven Sisters 05/08/12

Hi Everyone!

So on Sunday 5th August 2012 I went out to Cuckmere Haven, Seven Sisters with my camera friend that sometimes helps me film my videos on my Youtube channel Winterskel.

I had a fantastic day out with her and where I went once we finally got where we both wanted to go after travel bus issues. If anyone would like to go there or if you get the chance to go, I would totally recommend it.

I'm sure we will visit this beautiful place again but I knew I wanted to go there or if I couldn't go there then imagine what it's like to go there after seeing the film Atonement for the first time, I love that film and I've actually reviewed it on my channel video link here. Anyway but when I found out that a lot of the filming locations were in the UK, I knew that I wanted to go to a least one of them and one of my favourite scenes as I say in my video review is the beach scene with Robbie and Cecilia and again as I say in the video review this scene actually makes me want to live near a beach.

Since going there I still want to live near a beach in a cottage and people actually live there in the cottages and I think that's so cool and I envy them even if they just use the cottages as holiday homes. I'm not being mean to them but I would love to live there if I could. When I went there with my friend it felt really surreal being where Keira Knightley and James McAvoy have been and where they filmed some of the most beautiful scenes of Atonement, in my opinion.

Once I finally got to the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre with my friend after solving bus issues, we went in and they give you great information about directions that are literally spot on, they also have loads of souvenirs that you can purchase to do with Seven Sisters and other things, I will show you what I got in a couple of pictures later and I will also show you in a vlog video that I filmed while there but l'll leave a link here, when I upload it to my Youtube channel.

Once we followed the correct directions that we were given we sat down on the beach with the Seven Sisters to our left, the sea in front of us and had lunch on the beach, which was great. After a while of taking pictures and relaxing on the beach we headed back we had an early dinner in this really cool tea room which is near the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre. I had Crumpets and a Diet Coke, my friend she had Toasted Teacake and a Coca Cola.

After we had our early dinner we then went back into the Visitor Centre for some more souvenirs after that we both decided to go and see the cottages which I was most excited about from seeing them in Atonement. For both walks it's one mile and takes an hour, to get there but once I saw the cottages I had the biggest smile on my face, I was happy and excited as was my friend too, the exercise/walking is worth it, trust me.

These are some of the best pictures I took in my opinion and more pictures will be on my Vlog when I edit it and then upload it but I wanted to share them with you on here too and the picture of me was taken by my friend. I hope you have enjoyed reading this post as as much as I have enjoyed writing it, we both had a fantastic and brilliant day out, we would both go again and we had good weather on 5th August.

Thanks for reading and take care
